BOE, the accursed, ascendancy, umbrella, and terminally i think alot more kids would have stayed. But once again you can credit the low turnout for the last few bands to GOD AWFUL show organization. Spending all fucking day at a shit bag club to see a bunch of bands that no one has ever heard of and suck out loud would usually do the trick as far as souring people's ambition to be at a show. I'm friends with BOE, and Ascendancy, I had seen them the day before, but even I left because I just couldn't stomach having to sit through another 8000 bands because some moron can't figure out how to book a show.

i thought the show kicked ass blue from raising kubrick did a decent job putting it togeter i blame the no show bands for hindering the flow of the show it tough putting a multi band type show like that on and have it go smoothly all in all it was a good show aside from a few small problems here and there
i know the more force fest 3 will kick major ass and any people that don't go just cause of some of the sillyness here is nuts cause it's a good chance to see a lot of different METAL bands some established some not so established and just starting to make a name for them selves from the area
one thing i like about joe if he likes you and your band he'll do what ever he can to help you (thats just how joe is) and he's always looking for new bands to help out with shows and if he REALLY LIKES YOU he'll possibly release your cd on his lable.............. but cross him and well you know the rest i think

This whole thread is gay... Joe works hard to set up shows, and all the band's work hard in trying to make it somewhere. Whatever, this is totally gay, count me out of all of this... all that I can say is that me and my band appreciate everything that we have gotten, and all the support that we have gotten... for us, being in the most professional mindset has helped us steer away from this nonsense. Joe does his best to help out some of the bands, and this is just one way how he can help, just let him do what he wants, it's not like it's hurting anybody.

Matts right. i haven't ever heard either of those bands before. I just wondered what they sounded like. i wasnt "bashing" or whatever, just wondering, next time i'll not ask a simple question which could be fixed with a link to their site. Not like any of the comments made here are just going to get twisted, because they are. Who is fatnugs? Is that the hardcore band or the crew? Pam I have seen Bane Of Existence a few times their drumming and singing is awesome. I didnt stay for them at Jarrod's Fest because they lacked a singer, which if the last time i checked you listen to a band for the vocals first, then the rest of the elements. Plus I saw them with a singer the night before at Monk St. Lay off of that subject then. I've never heard Ravage before, I have heard The Accursed before in mp3s minus the vocals, they sound really tight musically. Plus I've heard them practicing because my friends band use to practice in the same studio in New Bedford as them. We really didnt stay the rest of the time at Jarrods Fest because of the fact that by like 11:00pm we were tired and our bassist lives in Waltham and he's only 17. Plus we all had work the next day early, because we still all need our jobs, for money. I was hoping to see the Accursed and many other of the shows that Joe is putting on since then, but the unfortinate thing is that their mostly 21 plus and i am just 18.
Ok here is the deal about this fight. I talked to the kids in Back Of Tha Neck and Crew, they said that Joe talks a lot of shit about bands who never give him a hard time about anything. They all plan on attending the show on August 2nd at the Middle East just incase anyone feels like jumping any of our band mates etc. Were not going to start anything we'll just be ready if you all do.

yep... i dont like metal despite listening to pretty much every genre of metal you can think of. im really getting annoyed by all these people that claim that they are tr00 and metal. they arent. they are for the most part close-minded fags that have an inferioirty complex. oh no... there are atmospheric key board in the new emperor... emperor isnt black metal anymore... they are posers. oh no... there are clear vocals in that one song... that band sold out. i have to hate everything else except one small genre of metal because its different and change and musical evol;ution is like... so terrible. hail satan. i used to like this band until they released an album that was a little different... now they suck and i hate them. oh.. if the production is too clear its obviously an album that was recorded using money and therefore isnt tr00 anymore and the band sold out... fuck tr00 metal people. you people ruin a good thing. im going to join a thrash/black metal band and wear brian mcknight shirts as well as blink 182, sum 41, marilyn manson, and arvil lavigne lavigne shirts with a neck tie and goth make up just to piss you all off. eat my shit please.
