Alright, so as it's been established over the last few weeks, this forum has been on a serious downturn lately. Without regurgitating the same arguments all over again, we need to do something about it. I've been just as guilty as anyone contributing to the 80,000 threads full of flamewar, but the buck's gotta stop somewhere.
Aaron spends a ton of time and money funding this site, taking pictures, and hosting a great radio show with much love and support for local bands. It's pretty lame that he gets to see a forum full of megathreads on the same subjects. I'd like to try and get back to what this forum SHOULD be about: the New England metal scene, what about it works, and what needs fixing.
I know most of you will call me a faggot and a kissass, but I don't give a fuck.

It is pretty annoying to read poor grammar, but I think it's a lost cause. Most people consider a forum like this to be a fairly colloquial format, and don't consider speaking proper English a priority. There are a lot of dumb people - this is not news. Just think how smart you look compared to them!
But interestingly enough, there's a lot of really talented people in this world who can't spell worth half a damn. So it's not really a solid metric by which to judge people.

The blackmetallady threads haven't been a bother (and I would guess probably not as annoying as all those racism threads were) because I really don't post here now like I did back then; so I couldn't give a shit about hobby rockers or whatever the fuck she hates.
It's fun not to have admins on the board but you really see the flaws in the system when it gets to the point where every third thread is absolutely fucking retarded shit like that and the other threads are people bitching about personal problems (I don't mind that because it actually shows that people on the board are united enough to give each other advice, or post some really funny shit mocking the poster's problems, its just that such threads seem to be the only thing posted aside from that blackmetallady crap). While the threads where people are actually discussing music have about 60 views and 8 posts and are buried back on page 11.
