Midway Cafe is doing Metal Tuesdays!![views:4991][posts:104]_____________________________________ [May 25,2005 11:38am - sxejustin ""] The Midway Cafe in JP is now doing metal on the third tueday of every month starting with June 21, July 19, and possibly August 16 if all goes well. Please help me out on this one, I think the metal scene in Boston could use a great venue to have regular shows at and this one looks pretty up to par. The shows are all 21 + unfortunately, but its a small price to pay for a consistent venue that's looking to help the metal scene. There are a decent amount of people that show for some 21+ shows. NOT nearly as many heads that show up for All Ages, or even some 18+ shows. Last october, we played a VFW 10 minutes from my house in freaking Maine, and there were more heads there than most metal shows I've been too in boston, the kids went fucking insane which was also suprising since I've lived here for so long. 21+ isn't killing metal persay, but it's definetly not benefiting it in any way. |
