I'm a sucker for good lore but, now I think all the CT folk that that I've talked to about this subject are just full of it. Maybe some bad deaths have happened to a few of these peoples friends but I think they're just being feeble minded and giving in to the superstition surrounding the legend. I'll have to to take a hike out there sometime anyways "just for shits and giggles". We've got some cool abandoned settlements up here in NH aswell. It's always interesting to stumble upon one out of nowhere in the middle of the White Mountains Forest. My apologies for straying away from the subject of this fine thread.I should probably just start a thread on New England Folklore. |
