What I think takes too long is being stuck behind an old lady who takes forever to get her change together, or who takes longer to write a check that it would take her to write War and Peace, or who makes the entire line behind her wait for an extra few minutes just so a manager can be called over to get a 25 cent coupon validated. Compared to those options, I wish she would just learn how to use a credit card and get the hell out of there. On the "I like the music and don't like the vocals" critique for heavier bands, I know it's not the ideal thing anywone wants to hear, but the alternative reaction for non-fans of death metal is to just dismiss the music entirely because they don't like the vocals. That's usually what happens, and it's much worse; at least this way they don't ignore songwriting/good musicianship and give credit where it's due. haha, maybe my youth crew black metal band's first album will be called ENCYCLOPEDIA OF HATRED. we'll see what happens. haha. i can definitely understand hating the old ladies who take forever in the grocery line or whatever. my first job was at a grocery store and i got more shit from old people trying to get coupons to work that either expired, were for completely different items, and the coupons for other stores. i also hate the people that abuse food stamps and WIC checks and all that jazz. with WIC checks, you're only allowed to buy food, nothing else. this lady who came in the store for like 3 years straight, 2 times a week always tried buying kitty litter and laundry detergent and other items of that nature with her WIC checks, complaining that she has "caaaanncaaah." she was also caught shoplifting on about 7 different occasions before getting kicked out, and complained that they kicked out a poor old lady who has "caaaaancah." sure enough, she did the same shit at the convenience store i worked at right after the grocery store. fucking retarded old ladies. |
