I emailed century media. I have no idea about the policies at the webster. I know that if you want in the photopit, you will probably need to get a photopass. If you want to shoot from the crowd, they may or may not let you in with your camera/bag.

yup - HedPE is playing the main room and the whole Rotting Christ show is in the Underground / small room. i can't imagine them being dicks about photo stuff, Quintessence. and i'd be VERY surprised if there was a "photo pit" or barricade of any kind - i've never seen such a thing in the Underground. Mr From The Grave could give any of you the dish on what shooting in the Underground is like. anyhow - should be pretty packed - which is cool because this show would have been half empty at best in the big room.
and Mr. Slav - I could have Al drop off three tickets this afternoon at Music Outlet for you... or I could meet you before the show. Our load in is at 5 and that's when they usually like to settle up tickets. Let me know whatever works for you, man. Thanks.

I just sent in all 3 of my speed lights to get reconditioned. cost me want $121 each. sucks, but it's better than $330 for a new one and then having 3 broken ones.

This fucking blows. I can't find out anywhere if this happening or not!!! I know Ryan(Ipsissimus) went and talked to someone @ Webster lastnight because he got word it was gonna get cancelled,I guess they only pre-sold 15 tickets(The venue that is),so she was debating if it was worth it. He told Al around midnight,it was still on...Then around 1am I got that Text from Anthony...which leads me to believe if they contacted the band and told them it wasn't happening,it looks bleak....DAMN IT!!! Im gonna grab my teddy bear and go cry myself a river before work...On the "bright side" at least there's Ny on Friday...Frank Im gonna hit BB kings too,I have to catch this twice.

well, now you can return it and save $100 extra to get a 580ex II. I just really hate the 430ex. underpowered, no options and worse metering than the 550. the 580 isn't a nikon sb800, but it's getting better with the whole through the flash metering system. you can get the 580 for around $300 now a days.

Fuck - I just wrote out a fucking novel and accidentally deleted it. I was told last night to assume the show IS still happening. Basically the venue is concerned with starting out nearly three grand in the hole with only 35 tickets pre-sold when they would need over four times that many just to break even. I told them I thought it would be a very well attended show and that I know of people coming from out of state. i was told that should the show be cancelled, I would be notified ASAP so I could put the word out. I HIGHLY DOUBT it will be cancelled the day-of but I would recommend people call the venue before heading over. I will post here IMMEDIATELY should I hear anything to the contrary.
