Blue actually told me to turn the gain on my amp down. The overall problem was my guitar's input shitting the bed, causing fluctuations in volume as well as a ton of annoying feedback. Better luck next time.

And this show was a lot of fun. Pathogenic sounded good with two guitars, and they're only going to sound better when Chris decides to stop trying to defeat doors in battle.
I don't know if the dudes in the pit who were facing up and shit, and also spinning and tossing eachother post here (probably not), but they tossed a grown man sideways into a crowd of girls and my buddy who is basically a girl.
That was my first time seeing Composted live, but it will not be my last. Dude kind of made me sad with the Goratory reference. I wish I was a couple years older and could have seen that band.

When i mentioned the guitar volume, i wasn't saying that the show was good EXCEPT that, i was just saying that was the only thing that wasn't perfect. It was one of the best mixes i'd heard from them, but knowing what the guitar actually does in the songs, and not being able to hear them clearly is a bummer.

what do you guys think of that split at the merch table? so far I'm really digging this. Boarcorpse sounds more "cohesive" than their demo, I guess, but there are still a couple riffs on that demo that are better than this. Composted just gets me pumped, and Scalpel sounds like a slammy carcass from 1991.

Surprisingly the Goratory reunion show at NEDF last year wasn't as insane as it should have been. It was probably because everyone was too drunk/tired from 2 straight days of death metal. Their set was tight as shit but only a handful of people were really into it. Sausagefest in Natick a handful of years ago on the other hand was absolutely fucking retarded; that was easily in my top 10 favorite shows of all time.
