Aaron had to be home for his year old baby, he sorta pushed me out the door as soon as he could... which we knew was the plan, we only thought that he was going to have his own car so that i could've stayed... but his baby moma veto'd that idea. I am so glad we got to play this, and so glad that we had the Bday boy come on stage and sing ticks, he really did an awesome job. **I feel a little silly, I totally let nerves get to me after the first few mistakes on stage, then let that compound into an all around mediocre performance. Thankfully my awesome band mates did SO well that it didn't ruin the show.... but i still should have done better. Oh well, I guess having a really bad night on drums is unavoidable every now and again, but i just wish it had been at a practice... |

| ____________________________________ [Mar 15,2011 10:15am - arktouros ""] jimbo overall i think it was the best set you guys played. aaron hit the notes in Pushit, the guitars were right on and so were you. i could see small mistakes here and there but they'd be transparent to people less savvy. jenny was amazed, you guys really sound like them and saturday was no different. oasis DOES sound mint now. nocuous is an awesome dual guitar black thrash attack. sarcomancy smelled like cheeseburgers, and their last song was SO GOOD. had to leave after that. One of them blew when everytning else went out about two weeks back so the kustom was lhe only full speaker and the yamaha had just the horn. I might pick them up myself since sully paid out of pocket for the towers. We also need a rack EQ to tweak the highs. The horns in those towers are quite meh-ish. Should be in pretty good shape by the Celestia show. |
