Seriously though, I'm actually surprised about the critical we response to the vocals in reviews. I was expecting them to get worse reviews, but they were received pretty well. I personally think they're pretty bad on the Gamma Ray cover, but OK everywhere else. I was supposed to be the drummer, but after I recorded all the drums and Dave recorded all the his guitars, we still couldn't find a singer, so I just went for it so we could actually finish up the album. I've been doing vocal exercises for about a year now, so hopefully our next turd is better polished. |
