Tonight after my unplanned 13 hour shift I unexplicably CRAVED a McRib sandwich.
I get to McDonald's (the one next to Berklee) and start to get excited. The gentleman in front of me orders one and as the order comes up on the prep screen I see a look of confusion on the burger vixen's face.. I get nervous.
'Why is she making that face?' I think to myself..
She yells something un-intelligble in Burgish (it could've been Spanish but who's counting, amiright?) to her manager. No worries though, the rib pattie is retrived and placed on it's sweet, fluffy bun paired with sour pickles and crisp white onion.
The anticipation builds. I hear the cashier ask me that glorius, hunger curing question, ''Can I take your order?''
I excitingly reply back,''One McRib please!''
The events that happen next I do not wish upon anybody.
With a sickening look of both pleasure and pure unadulterated evil the man behind the counter makes direct eye contact with me.
''We are out of McRibs, sir. He got the last one. Sorry.''
My heart sinks. It's as if my entire world came crashing down on me, or perhaps it was more like the feeling one would experience when they aquired ten thousand spoons when all they needed was a knife.
I look to the man who previously stood before me as he receives his McRib, no MY McRib!
''I fucking hate you!'' I exclaim as I turn away to hide my hunger pangs and tears.
I promptly leave the establishment, vowing never to return again.. that is, until I crave another McRib.

it's a good idea, if done correctly. I don't want to criticize the people involved more than I already have by making this dumb/joke thread, but show and band promotion should be its primary focus.
secondary focus should be promoting a conservative take on black metal, its ethos, and good recommendations of European bands.
