Sunday April 4th[views:10689][posts:62]The Rochambeau Club (Biddeford, Maine) - [conifer][kurixis][one_of_the_few][raising_kubrick][randomshots][that_band_with_no_name][the_network] _______________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 11:31am - Joe/NotCommon ""] In Dire Need cancelled last week, I am not sure why. I have no idea why those other bands didn't show up, but out of like 4 bands I doubt they all had good reasons. |
_____________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 11:34am - RustedAngel ""] probably not, so what 3 bands just didn't show? didn't even contact anyone about it? |
__________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 11:37am - succubus ""] it was a benefit show for a GREAT cause, we were happy to donate...i don't know if it cost $$$ to put on the show but if so, i hope they ended up with money to donate |
_______________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 11:37am - Joe/NotCommon ""] I think some of those bands called the guy around 3, when the show was originally suppose to start. |
_____________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 11:38am - RustedAngel ""] retarded. |
_______________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 11:42am - Joe/NotCommon ""] One time at one of my shows, one of the bands was there but then left and didn't come back (before the show started). There was a good crowd at the show, about 40 people. It was some stupid band, I think it's kind of funny. I hooked them up on the show as a favour to someone, even though I hate their music. I still don't know why they took off. Oh well. Note to promoters, Days Gone By was this band. |
_____________________________ [Apr 5,2004 3:38pm - blue ""] >>and their first album was 'surrealistic madness' not 'b.r.d.' so some of the songs on the imprint disc are from s.r.>> my bad, i actually knew that. besides way too many bands cancelling on the day of the show (way to be unprofessional), i thought it was fun regardless. huge thanks go out to josh for putting the show and i hope to hear him booking more in the future. |

___________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 7:42pm - anonymous ""] the band Hearless Advice broke up the night before the show. |

I saw the breathing process at a show in ct the night before. I wonder why they didn't show? what happend to in dire need? our guitarist mother got remarried, and our drummer's family(including him) attended |
___________________________________ [Apr 5,2004 8:38pm - soilworker ""] i know i will be doing more shows in the future but all i know is i lost about 300 bucks so im dont have money to donate but i think im going to donate a little out of my pocket. i still had fun but for the bands that showed up thanks a whole lot! AT least i know who is reliable in the future. |
