____________________________________ [Feb 14,2005 6:46pm - Wraithious ""] I believe it's a scene of sorts, I mean you have all the new england local bands posting here, this message board is just as busy as most of the top metal boards around, and altho some of the bands don't get along, they are all from this area for the most part. that's my 2 cents anyhow. I might add too that with all the show reviews, and pics gallore that get posted and updated very frequently about all the local events is a great help to producing a scene and positivly supporting it. |

A "RTTP Band" would be anyone on this board and I'm sure there was no negative connotation intended. Being in the middle of the two is quite hilarious...I can honestly say I've enjoyed every minute of it...except for those Departed bastards *shakes fist* |

Which is pretty much what I meant when I said that. RustedAngel said:if you think of it that way maybe, but the only time I see SD post here is when he has a show. Not a very contributing member to RTTP society. I am a perpetual drain on society. Mwa ha ha... :doublehorns: Seriously though, I have posted here on several other occasions, but more often than not I just read when I come here... (I guess I don't see the point in adding reply #67 to a 66 reply post unless I have something substantial to add to the conversation). |

___________________________________ [Feb 16,2005 3:05am - ArrowHead ""] I gotta tell you, I'm one of the oldest members that still posts on BSR. You guys are really confused that whole board, and the bands associated. Even I admit that that entire board is pretty gay now. However, you tend to all associate waaf and baystate rock. Carm hosts baystate rock on aaf, a show all about ANY kinds of local music. Hell, any of you guys sends her a CD and sends her an email before you play a gig, I guarantee she'll play you guys and plug the show. She's a hot shit, and would do what she does on ANY station. I wouldn't neccesarily associate her with AAF. AAF pushed Godsmack into the limelight. Carm has pushed bands like dinosaur junior, diecast, the mighty mighties, maelstrom, tree, - stuff AAF would never have given a chance to at the time. There were some damned good bands and people on the BSR board. If you do a search of threads from a year ago that place was so full of drama and hilarious shit, and it was really busy. Now no one ever posts except anonymous douchebags, you guys, first time or new bands, or groupie promotor chicks that book unknown bands in unknown shitholes. |
