as much gayness as this book is associated with, when i was like 13 this really did change the way i looked at everything. i just removed the whole "Satan" thing and applied it to actual life.

This didn't change the way I think about things but it set me on the path of reading shitloads of fantasy books.

This is a spoken word album, not a book, but it should be a book.

This didn't change me, I haven't even read the whole thing, but Seth and I are characters in it. I force some kid to take acid through his eyeballs or something.

#10 would be Notes From The Nest by Kurt Brecht (DRI) but I couldn't find a picture of it.

I've been a selfish, pro-capitalism asshole ever since, and damn proud of it.

Mostly because these stories, and Clive Barker in general got me into reading for enjoyment.

I wish I could find a better pic of this, Carlin's real first book that seems to have been forgotten.

Why would I want to make a woman sexually happy? I only care about me getting off with a nutter butter on her face and kicking her out the door. Now that is happiness which I utilize often.

You missed important foreplay points such as being a dick, never doing anything for her, and cheating on her. Girls love it.

i agree the plot was great but there was too much medical and technical jargon.

WRONG. I wanted him to re-write the ending. If you don't remember, 300+ pages and he wrote the end of the book in 8 pages. It was due to pressure from his publisher.

Clive Barker kicks ass. The Inhuman Condition and In the Flesh are, I believe, are the books blood collections. Cabal and Weaveworld are awesome.

Well, to be quite honest, I must say I used to read Encyclopedias and Almanacs when I was a kid. It certainly opened up my eyes to knowledge.
I'm thinking about breezing through an Encyclopedia again.
