Now they run start-up businesses, drive a Lexus or a minivan and they all have kids, and not much time to be depressed anymore. The kids today just adopted the clothes and a faux pallor of depression, they are not the real deal. Like any commercialized sub-culture, the original intent is lost in the mist of mass acceptance.
