That was draining as all hell. Thanks so much to alex for letting my brother and I play. December Wolves...what can I say? They killed. Thanks to everyone for coming out.

well, I stopped by this place to see what was going on and there was nobody here at all. granted that was early. when I came back, an hour later, it was just coming together. Alex had a DJ set up in the corner with one turntable, CD, mixer. I sat outside cause my earplugs were way too noise dampaning for me to hear people talk and bands were setting up so it was too loud in there for me not to have ear plugs in.

cryostasium: this features strep cunt (bass) and some guy in a starflyer 59 shirt (sampler box) and that's it. I must say that I understand his witch tomb perfomance more now. I have no idea what was live, what was on CD, and what was from the sampler. very distant, some times dissonant, and some times very thin and sparce. It sort of reminded me of the thraldom CD mixed with december wolves. It also sort of reminded me of the last time I saw alex empire (ATR) playing. he controlled a box that everyone else fed into.

december wolves: wtf... they were intense. devon didn't have the sampler (which was the cool part of their old show), but it didn't matter it was so good. I can't believe how much noise they were able to get out of get 4 members. They played a pretty full set, playing some songs that even I knew. the hirudinea brothers fit right in with DW.

what a great night! Cryostasium was really creepy (in a good way) and December Wolves played an awesome and really tight set. I was very impressed. I love HMB night

Such a good time. Cryostasium , with all the stage lights darkened and the sometimes seemingly random always disturbing sound effects, created a dark and intense atmosphere in O'Brien's. December Wolves sounded fucking awesome, they slayed. I headbanged my ass off

This was a great time! Thanks to Alex for putting this on. Cryostasium sounded great after they got up and running, even though the theatrics were really lame. December Wolves were really intense and much tighter than I was expecting. Very nice show!

Thanks to everyone who came, and both bands of course...

I've had a blast doing HMB so far, and am looking forward to doing it for a long time... Which would not be possible if people didn't show up! So thanks again.
