Mojoe's was a cool venue, but getting to Joliet was a pain in ass too, what with the money I spent on cabs. I'm playing the fest this year so I don't have to worry about a fest ticket. Still gotta pay for airfare and all that, but the way I see it, it's a small price to pay for getting to share the stage with bands like Oz, Omen, Exumer, and Shok Paris. You hitting it up again this year? Also, I agree that Virgin Steele was fucking stellar. The PA for the vocals I think was fucked up though. I was struggling to hear DeFeis at times. |

Joey told the crowd that they brought their own PA and sound which is why it was so expensive. They were the best sounding band I've seen at the Palladium. There was probably around 300 people there it wasn't packed at all. They should have had an opening act because a show starting at 8 and ending at 10 is pretty lame. |
