Birds are an indicator species on the health of an eco system as they are highly affected in their reproduction from chemicals and are highly mobile so they normally will leave an area if it is unsuitable. But they are not the most important indicator species, that title goes to amphibians which are almost extinct in the Northeast. cool story bro? I love animals and used to want to be a zoologist. |
