Check your monitor's documentation and see what the native resolution they recommend using is. The monitor will always look it's best in the native resolution. |

It's the driver for the monitor. your machine needs to know that it's a widescreen otherwise you are going to get clipping and aliasing from the monitor trying to deal with a non-supported resolution. find the driver for the monitor or make your own with power strip. |
