just remembered this morning lol

I have 3 teams this year, 3 drafts in 3 days, this one Saturday, the money league I do every year on Sunday, and a fucking around free league on Monday night

I've been looking to do a money league for years and it never works out. Doing an 8 team draft tomorrow, this league Sat, and immediately following if not overlapping I'm doing a 12 team.

I started working overnights at UPS and am now sleeping until 1 or 2 in the afternoon, so I missed the draft by a longshot. I'm off to see how badly I got fucked by autopicking.

Only bitching about the draft time/day earlier before then moving into a new house this weekend only to have to prepare it for this shitty upcoming storm and missing the fucking draft is real.

Did a 16 team draft later that day with a bunch of retards who drafted from the bottom up. That makes 3 drafts in a row where Stephen Gostkowski went in the first 6 rounds.

“For those sincerely concerned, I’m doing ok & plan to be back by opening day,” Foster wrote on Twitter. “For those worried abt your fantasy team, you people are sick.” (Edited for clarity.)

RBs are so-so. Really strong at WRs. Especially for .5 PPR.

yea, I'm currently trying to work out a trade for a better RB2, which I may not even need if D-Will and/or Pierre Thomas return to form

I just read ingram and thomas are going to be splitting carries "evenly" for the time being. I hate Williams and Stewart. I was happy to see williams was a free agent, only to go right back to CAR and fuck everything all up again.

[Aug 29,2011 3:17pm - RustyPS should be working  ""]
Thomas has been splitting carries his whole professional career, didn't stop him from putting up big numbers before

Why the hate for D-Will? He's put up some huge numbers himself

My first terrible trade proposal of the year.

I would get:
Johnathan Stewart
Anthony Armstrong (actually had to look this guy up)

in exchange for Tim Hightower

My response: "Hightower's the big black guy from Police Academy right? I'd better keep him. "

That's a much more insulting comparison to people that don't share a messageboard with lifelong d&d nerds.

Agree with Mike, but on the other hand, fantasy football players pick real life palyers and do well or not based on real performances, whereas D&D players pretend to be fictional characters in a magical land where you cast spells and ride dragons

Rex Ryan exists in a fantasy land.

Just for the sake of arguement, not that I actually car about either FF or DD....Once you pick your players whether it be linebackers, running backs, elves, dwarves, defensive ends, clerics etc. based on their strengths, weaknesses, offensive and defensive skills etc., you have about as much control as to what happens on the field as you do over which one of the 26 sides the die lands on. It's just a stats game with slightly different ways of accumulating said numbers.

All very true, just stating other facts

People who vote on politicians can't control what happens once they enter office. When things work out for the guy you pick you win the power of superiority over everyone who chose differently from you. Hence therefore C-SPAN = Rotoworld.

The only difference is that when a FF player stops doing anything for you, you get rid of him.

Oh, what could've been for this team......*sigh*

I cut Murray after week 1, then after week 2, I spent most of the season trying to make a move to replace Charles, little did I know, I cut that guy after week 1. I managed to get Willis McGahee and Mike Tolbert in two separate trades, but it wasn't enough to save my season. I ended up 7-7, good for 5th place and on the outside of the playoffs looking in. So disappointing, the first time I lost money playing FFB.
