There's a blog/column on Destructoid.com called Memory Card Moments (or something like that) that talks about landmark moments in gaming and I read some of the ones on FFVI and it really is astounding what that game did for the RPG genre. I would almost definitely put it in up top 5 RPGs. |

The game had a lot of charm and silliness but god damn it was a great game and could be pretty dark at times. Also, I remember that that CT2 game leaked but it was an incomplete version of the game. Playable, but not perfect. |

Compare that to FFVII where any character could do anything it allowed for you to not become attached to the story of each individual character. |
