| _________________________________ [Mar 31,2003 1:15pm - xjohnx ""] k i was at the show last night so i'll give a little review of it...incase anyone was wondering, dying fetus did not play. black book diaries: insane grindcore... i think they played like an 8 minute set with really creepy static and piano sound samples. wicked fucking awesome love lies bleeding: i guess you could call them like a screamo type band...they were also pretty damn good with very nice guitars. they handed out free demos which were recorded at zing studios that sound awesome. burial: very dying fetus-esque sound. singer had a very deep voice...not really my style of music but everyone was diggin it...also played a dying fetus cover song aura phase: decent...nothing too overly exciting...singer had a very powerful voice though |

Noone wanted to pit to them tho...why the fuck not? Love Lies bleeding i think are too much like killswitch, too much soft singing, some pretty nice guitar riffs and shit, but i hated the soft singing.... Black book diaries? Who was that? Yhe first band that played? they were fucking horrible..all the songs were like 1 minute long and they were all fuckin high pitched gay screaming... Burial: they were sick...noone was pitting though, the pit got good for about a minute and then it died down again...even when they tried to everyone going by saying "come on you pussies!!!" noone fuckin moved...only a few pitters, doing gay spinkicks. Aura Phase... what do you mean nothing special? they played a sick set, and everything was tight...the drums were awesome as were the guitars, and the the singer had a good voice....these guys were the highlight of the show.. |
