I found out i got incorrectly informed. anyone who is interested:

September 10th:
Mats/Morgan Band
7:30, $12

If you are unaware as to who Mats/Morgan are:
Mats/Morgan (Mats Oberg and Morgan Agren) are notable for recording and performing with Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Mike Keneally, Dweezil Zappa, Yellowman, The Flesh Quartet, Fredrik Thordendal of Messhuggah, and Dennis Walley of Captain Beefheart etc. Their level of musicianship is completely uncompromising and intense, they break down all stylistic barriers. Mats Oberg (keyboards) and Morgan Agren (drums) are both born in Sweden and have played together since they were 10 and 14 years old, and exist on a plane of musical communication that goes far beyond the expectations of the audience to give you some idea of their dedication, Morgan Agren once accidentally caught his hair on fire during a drum solo, and continued playing with his other hand while he put the fire out. Together with their 5-piece band, they deliver and unheard blend of groove oriented jazz-improvisation and raw rock power. In 2001 Mats/Morgan celebrated their 20-year anniversary as a musical entity. The two Swedish musicians who first caught the world's attention in 1988 through their collaborations with Frank Zappa, and who in 1994 received a Grammy Award for their work on Zappa's Universe (together with Steve Vai). Since 1981, they have puzzled the world with their very unique music and sound. This tours line up includes Mats Oberg (keys, harmonica, voice), Morgan Agren (drums), Jimmy Agren (guitar, harmonica), Robert Elovsson (keys), and Tommy Thordsson (bass). The Mats/Morgan Band's US Tour should not be missed. It will be an intense, rhythmic, instrumental extravaganza. In the words of the late great Frank Zappa, "They Played Unbelievable, just Unbelievable."
