ABACUS RECORDINGS SIGNS BLEEDING KANSAS![views:2582][posts:0]______________________________________________ [Sep 10,2004 10:52pm - Abacus Street Team ""] ABACUS RECORDINGS SIGNS BLEEDING KANSAS! From an unsuspecting place, Burbank, California, comes an unsuspecting sound via the four individuals who make up Bleeding Kansas. Drawing inspiration and comparisons to acts such as Botch and Black Flag, the band’s sound is rounded out with an honest desperation where a word like “screamo” fails to do justice. The band’s debut EP, recorded by Kurt Ballou (Converge), entitled 1859, will hit stores Feb. 2005. In the meantime, check out a track from the EP entitled “Can’t Help You There” in the media section of the Abacus website. http://www.abacusrecordings.com/audio/BK_CantHelpYouThere.mp3 The band is currently on tour with plenty more touring plans in the making.
