Anoxia isn't doing anything "original", they just know how to play devastatingly brutal death and they do it well. It's extremely difficult to play at the level they do. Which is why they're like the only band from this region producing that kind of material. It's Unique Leader rec. status. A lot of people accuse those bands (UL) of sounding the same, yet they're all technically proficient and crushing. Personally, I could listen to that type of stuff all day. |
