LickGoldenSky: Rumors and Stereotypes[views:2718][posts:8]_________________________________________________ [Sep 14,2004 2:07pm - the_taste_of_cigarettes ""] 1) this band played a fest, got bumped from a 6pm slot to a 1pm slot, so the guitarist set there letting feedback ring out for 20 mins while the drummer ate a bag of potato chips as big FUCK YOU. 2) this band played CT with us and were so peaved at the crowd enthusiasm/output that they played one song for 15 minutes which I detailed in another post. Incredible. 3) the band is known for being very tricky. I heard they broke up recently, but it would be much like them to be just kidding. Anyone know more? honestly, like their music or not, this is true expression. I usually don't like convention when it comes to music, and for what I DO like of convention, I like to see it challenged. that's the stuff i liked about Nirvana...what I like about Sonic Youth. It's what I liked about Converge in the 90s, and some other bands. |
