I checked it out the next day and really dug the shit. I noticed they just had one guitar player and I immidiately tried to get ahold of them asking if I could try out. So I talk to the drummer who said "we practice at my house in marlboro." So I go to mapquest and see that its only like 40 miles from my house. I told him that IM in southern maine / nh area, then he said they practice every night and that I was way to far away. I didn't understand why he persisted that I was too far away even though I was willing to make the 40 mile commute whenever. So I talk to alan the guitar player on the phone a few times, really cool guy. He's like man you sure you'd want to drive that everyday? and I was like yeah no problem. So he's like well come to the show we have on the 13th and then you can come down the weekend after and try out. learn 4 of our songs. So ive been practicing 4 of the songs. Tonight, I decided to drop adam the singer a line on AIM and get to know him a little. He said him and alan were around framingham and that they travel about 20 minutes to marlboro, and I checked it and it said like 1 hour 40 minutes on mapquest. It didn't make sense. I looked at the map around framingham closely and saw that there is another fucking marlboro spelt. MARLBOROUGH.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which is like 94 fucking miles from my house. FUCK EVERYTHING im never going to find anything around here. kill me now. :middlefinger: |
