I can't beleive he fucked so many bands. Mutilated drove 1,200 miles to play the second day just to see a sign saying sorry the fest is cancelled today. He fucked everybody including headliners. People in Texas were posting about how the fest was in their town and they never knew it was heppening untill after. The kid rented out a big ass venue too which he is in debt to so I'm sure if he ever pops up their are gonna be alot of people after him. |

| _______________________________________ [May 14,2005 3:16am - tobin eugene ""] i was going through some of my old myspace posts and just happened to find this link....i know it has almost been over a year since murderfest happened, well like 8 months, but i will tell you what happened. I was one of the people involved with murderfest, i handled all of the out of town promotion, dealing with bands and managing the whole fest. i have no clue where the 24 people came from, but there was like 400...although 400 is actually quite a few people, it is nowhere the amount we needed or what should have been at this fest. i think we needed about 1,200 kids to break even. all i know is that 75% of the people there were from out of town. Houston is a huhe ass city, and where the venue was located was like an hour south of any of the scenes in houston...no one wanted to drive all the way down to south houston for this show...plus in houston, if it isn't norma jean or as i lay dying or something, the dumb fashion kids wont go out and support, but our hardcore scnee is strong, i guess we should have added some hardcore bands......well anyways, mike, the main dude behind this huge fuck up bailed on my ass...i found out that he really did have a heart attack, which i thought he was faking the whole time...turns out he had an infection in his throat and it led to his heart and i guess an infection can cause a heart attack.....mike is wanted dead by a lot of bands and people, but since he wasn't really involved with the fest and none of the bands saw him really, they dont know who fucked them over...well what he looked like....he was drinking beer w/cattle decap and they were talking mad shit about "mike" and had no clue they were actually talking with him....well probably no one cares about this crap anymore, i was just letting all of you guys know what happened.. later |

Actually, Hansen punches Vaders eye OUT OF IT'S FUCKING SOCKET, Vader stuffs it back in and keeps going. The tissue around the eye swells, which keeps the eye "in". The reason? Wrestling is fake right? Well, yes...and no...Hansen and Vader were pretty tough guys, so they didn't mind beating on each other a bit, but apparently someone hit a little too hard. I'll see if I can find a link to the vid...I may have it at home on CD somewhere. |
