Yes, this line-up was amazing. Thank you to all my sins for getting me in. http://www.returntothepit.com/concert.php?date=2003-04-12&did=1094 pictures are up. Where you one of the people jumping up on stage? well, you're probably here just to look for shots of yourself... look on. All My Sins: a few days ago, I told someone that I was going to see ams and their (babysbreath) comment was "they're still around?!?" I found out that they have been around in different forms since 91/94. Anyhow, they played great, much better that the show at the moose lodge. Though, Jordan (singer) kept turning away when he'd scream. Since by man: I had only heard their new CD friday so I didn't know what to expect. It was semi-art screamo with a sampler. Sort of like the rise with only a sampler in place of the keyboards. Norma Jean: Aw yeah... the second to last song "like bringing a knife to a gun fight!!!!" aka "Creating Something Out Of Nothing, Only To Destroy It". And some guy came in to sing back up for "Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste". they sounded so much like their CDs it was scary. I'm thinking that ETID would be this good live if etid's live vocals didn't suck. Norma Jean's vocals were awesome. Dillinger Escape Plan: 2 new songs and most of the tracks of Irony.... The show are so chaotic. Even standing to take pictures. I was pushed on stage where one of the guitar players jumped into my face over and over. Though... I was going to put dep in the gay catagory with man-o-war when a security guy told me to stop clicking cause if the band saw my camera, they would stop playing. It seems security gets the gay award. They meant VIDEO CAMERAS. So I moved on stage and kept snapping. Is it just me or is the singer falling into his own niche as-far-as his singing style goes. It seems he's got less of the dmitri/patton range and is focusing on his on vocal-stylings? Maybe not, but that's what I got. And thumbs down to the guy saying "where's patton?".
