As far as I'm concerned the only bands actively playing Thrash Metal around here are CSDO, CRYPTIC WARNING, WARGASM, MELIAH RAGE (hey, I didn't say they did it well), and that's all that really come to mind... Some bands like WATCHMAKER, KEVORKIAN'S ANGELS and RAOV come pretty damn close but go off in another directions at times. It's too bad that CW is the only fresh blood playing this style, I gotta get off my ass and do some Deutsch Thrash worship. Oh, I forgot about BLISTERED EARTH, though they are on the mid-era METALLICA/early TESTAMENT side of Thrash, but I haven't heard anything from them in a few years. |
