Apparently you owned an older one (2001 or older) with the old Tranny in them. They redid them for 2002 and also give the 7 year, 100,000 thousand mile warranty on them now!
Sorry, but I love my Dodge Ram with the 20 inch tires and rims, Hemi Engine and Dual Exhaust.
P.S. I would NEVER buy a Ford!

i had a 99 with dual exaust floe's, 360, 20 inch tires nice rims, tauno cover and all the extras, but that didn't stop it from being a shit box. i really wanted to like it. ford has always been good to me. and i bet my ford will smoke you off the line. not on the highway though. i must say the dodge was balls on the highway. and fucking rams guzzel the fucking gas. i went from 13 miles a gallon to 19 or 20 in the ford. and my new truck out classes the dodge by a long shot. i have a 32,000 dollar truck now. fuck a dodge!

i had an 88 f150 for my first vehicle, a short bed 5 spd, sprayed painted flat black, and when i bought it it had 240,000 miles on it, original engine, started up everyday no problem. i then gave it to my dad so he could use it for his roofing business. held up through all of that, then sold it to someone he worked with with over 260,000 miles. its off the road but still starts to this day!!
