vintage DRAKE tube shortwave radio transmitter/reciever set f/s[views:1119][posts:1]_________________________________________________ [Oct 24,2004 11:54pm - humanbonedeathmachine ""] :satancross: hey, im selling a vintage tube drake t-4x, R-4, and a power supply/ext speaker. this radio set is capable of operating on the 160-10 meter ham radio bands, operationg as a pirate broadcast machine on the top end of AM band, on shortwave around 6950 khz, or use as a (highly illegal) killer CB radio at 27 mhz t-4x 100 watt transmitter, all tube, can cover 1500khz-30 Mhz with the right oscillator crystals, all tubes test 80% or better. real nice condition. r-4 reciever, all tube 1.5-30 mhz, minor corrosion inside, still lights up when powered up, tubes are not 100% but still operable. power supply/ext speaker case, good condition will include operating manual and modification info for the transmitter to give you a nice wide broadcast quality audio bandwidth in your signal.
