Carina and I showed up.. late... and missed visual pollution.
I guess this is going to be a regular weekly thing down at obriens. 2 thumbs up to early shows since I'm now at home watching a movie.
also, for some reason, cutthroat wasn't allowed to play.. I think it had to do something with the drummer being stuck in traffic or something.
vertigod: I walked in during their set. mostly good stuff. some of the riffs I don't care for, but the dual vocal mics the singer uses is cool, but a lot of the times, it's the drummer singing (who looks like George Corpseginder).
bane of existence: played a short set, but it was pretty sick. I think I'm spoiled now with the 2nd guitar player. they sound a lot more full with that.
swarm of the lotus: they were the reason I was so psyched up to hit this show. the cd's been in my player and on my radio show since it came out. they were awesome, granted the set was only 15 minutes long cause of time constraints. some what doomy, some times sounding like all else failed. I think there was a little of examination of the... in there too.

Cut Throat didn't get to play because every band started late because they didn't know they were going on next (the schedule kept changing because their drummer was late), and by the time the show was winding down there was no time left for them to play.
