before I went down to RTTP, stacie and I watched Battle for Ozzfest...TAUMA CONCEPT IS A GONNER.
They try making it seem like that annoyin ahmad kid is going to lose by disrespecting zack wylde by putting on daves BLS vest. They make them all think they have to bite the heads off live bats, but they were hot dogs with a kiwi on the ends of them. They had to bite them blindfolded, and none of them realized they weren't biting REAL bats. idiots. how do you not taste kiwi?
Somewhere in the episode all in the sudden fuckin Ken from unearth walks up to all of them (they're not suppose to talk to band members) and the singer of Trauma concept talks to him anyways, gives him a demo and shit. You can hear Ken go "if you want to record just let me know" hahah, what a whore! So then they kick him off because of that and he pretended to be a member of slipknot to sign some chicks boobs.

I'm going to put money on it being more of a label decision then a band decision. A band can sit there and say "oh yeah we want to play Ozzfest" but the reality is, it ain't happening unless someone else is paying for it.
I agree, if your band sucks, it sucks, but don't blame the band for jumping at an opportunity. That's just retarded. If it ends up being career suicide, then I guess that's just something they'll have to live with, but judging by the fact that about 7 out of 10 bands on the last two second stages of Ozzfest are bigger and stronger because of it, I'm not seeing the problem...

* the publisit for the band first asked them if they heard of dimmu borgir and they all said yes. then she asked them if they could name one of their sone and there was just silence. And the publicist said "ok well good to know"
* the group was in charge of promo work for dimmu --- they had to get radio stations to play songs. So one of the group member calls up a radio station and the guy on the other end is like "is dimmu borgir the band with the scary looking guys" and i think his name is Adair said "yeah they're really fucking scary".
* after the dj started asking them about rob halford being gay the band just started swearing and crap. afterwards they took the ozzfest crew to dinner and got one of the guys extremely trashed.
they seemed to be quite bored and didn't want anything to do with the show or being on camera.
thats when i stopped watching. i'm pretty sure that episode will be aired again.
