starting a band[views:1494][posts:3]_________________________________________ [Nov 5,2004 2:31pm - hand-of-destiny ""] wondering if anyone here is from long island, preferibly from suffolk county that is interesting in joining a band. if you live in other parts of ny and wouldnt mind commuting it'd be fucking awesome as well. i can't fuckin find anyone that is serious about playing music and long island is a tough place to find death metal kids, long island is really emo and terrible hardcore. i have alot of songs written guitar-wise and some lyrics. different influences i'll list some: monstrosity old cannibal corpse skinless shadows fall old internal bleeding (before they want thug squad) dying fetus unearth red chord cephalic carnage god forbid misery index the mighty suffocation the haunted cryptopsy thorazine lamb of god waco jesus abominant old death obituary morbid angel malevolent creation whole bunch of different things. some melodic stuff, heavy and brutal rhythms, breakdowns, just alot of different stuff. mainly deathcore or thrashcore. if you have your own gear it's a good thing, i'm setting my gargage up as a rehearsal studio so i'll have guitar amps, bass amp, drums, and hopefully a pa. ages range from 16-21. if your down with death metal, grindcore, hardcore, metal, thrash send an e-mail to eatthis581@aol.com so we can discuss it further. i really hope someone responds, i've waited too god damn long and have come close so many times to getting signed but have had assholes ruin it for me and other bandmates. stay metal \m/ |
