The funny thing is, half the people who talk about scenester this and scenester that, all probably own some sort of pop music, most likely Greenday or some other 3 chord wonderfag band, or maybe have only been into metal at all for a few years! I happen to be musically open minded, I like various genres, I gather inspiration from more than one sorce, so that must make me a fake. Last I knew, the reason I got into this type of music, was so I could metaphorically express my disdain for you sheep!
