well, I learned a few things. like jordan's black (I was wondering why he was always so tan) and that I should have learned ASL from my mom, but enough about that.
on to the bands.

fetid: it' weird seeing high school kids playing music that adults in the 70's used to play. They were ok. It was punk.

black book diaries: I'll have to hear MP3s of the new stuff. Live, I liked the original "grind-core" music better.

kerosene ribbon: I didn't really care for them. It was sort of a lot of the parts of metal-core where you just want them to stop their clean singing and start with the screaming.

swear to god: Chris came in and did some vocals for one song, sounding like joe from byd. I think if they go back into the studio, they should get him to do some backups.

xhomicidex: a joke xhxcx band featuring vincent (guitar), dan (vocals), and ben (drummer) from the acacia strain. I've always wondered what byd thinks of joke tough-guy hc bands that are making fun of them. (like xtuffx and til the death). I guess imitation is the high form of flattery. They were funny cause they yelled faggot a lot and played the same song twice.

the breathing process: again, what’s up with bands not playing their older grind songs? I guess once again, I'm going to have to listen to the new mp3s. I did note that they had a lot more riffs.

all my sins: pretty brutal performance with limited crowd movement. I'm not sure why. they played excellent.

kaneda: a band named after the motorcycle jockey from akira. they weren't too band. I wouldn't say "amazing" like someone reviewed them as, but it was ok. I didn't like the last track they played at all. It sounded just like some other song by another band that I don't like, but can't (at the moment) remember.

dying in sin: oops... I sort of accidentally blinded one of the guitar players. Damn camera, I had it set on blind, I guess. Hopefully, I'll be able to get these guys in the studio at some point during the summer.

bury your dead: definitely not the same band that people remember. the line up has changed a bunch and they do some of the old songs, but it's different. The new new-singer's voice is a lot stronger than the old new-singer's, though it doesn't sound like joe's at all. I'd have to say it sounds a lot like guy(trc)'s voice before he lost it and had to learn to sing differently. I hope the new guy's voice survives the summer long tour they have with misery signals.

if you liked any of the pictures, they look much much better in full 1500X1004 version. I was looking through the re-sizes and they looked a lot worse than the full pictures. Maybe I can propose a porno-payment plan.

I've never seen someone spell the word "voice" that many times wrong in a row.
