attendmyrequiem said:
if you guys want to think that "indiscriminate beatings" happen at every hardcore show i'll continue to be a dick and call metal heads pussies. end of story.
Who said anything about every Hardcore shows? It happens at way more Hardcore shows than Metal shows, and even more at mixed Metal/Hardcore shows... And from my experience, the Metalheads aren't instigating it.
why don't you shut up and have fun too instead of making it an emo parade and whining about it?
I do have a lot of fun at shows I go to, however occasionally the fun does get dampered when I can't rock out and watch the band without some retard running into me. How you can't understand that is beyond me... I am perfectly happy to see Hardcore kids (and Punks, Rivetheads, Rockers, Hippies, Goths, whoever) at Metal shows, but just as they expect a certain kind of etiquette from people that walk into a Hardcore show, it's not unreasonable for us to have a different set of "rules" for Metal shows. Anyway, I like to mosh a bit too, but just fun running around with my friends, not throwing punches and kicks, cause, call me crazy, but I feel like I need a real reason to punch someone.
