William Grim (the author of this article) doesn't actually exist; it's just a pseudonym for a satirist. As far as whether or not the opinion pieces are real, they seem a bit too ridiculous but you never know. The logo still doesn't make sense -- a right-wing site would have very little to do with semiotics, ebonics, intertextuality and postmodernism, unless it's making fun of left-wingers who are obsessed with those concepts. a bit of a reach though. but check out other articles by "William Grim" on sites like Broken Newz: Straight Man, Neutered Dog to Wed in Natick, Massachusetts Third Disney Character Tests Positive For HIV etc etc. i'll concede that this is a conservative whack-job site whether it's fake or real, but I still think the joke's on us. |
