I've only found two split ends in my hair. I don't use a lot of conditioner, only like once a week, and a small amount at that, cause i hate how greasy it makes my hair look and feel.

I used to have hair down to my ass when I was in college. After having long hair for a long time I couldn't even bear the thought of cutting it off. Then I cut it off one day. While I miss it occasionally, the benefits definately overcome the setbacks. Being able to drive with the window down without getting my hair in my face, not getting hair caught in my stubble constantly, not sitting on my hair constantly, no more knotting, getting hair wrapped in my guitar tuning heads, etc... PLUS: getting laid a ton more. I'd say my success rate increased 90% with short hair. Also, besides women, most employers seem to like short hair better.

Theres an easy way to avoid sitting on your hair, not to grow it down to your ass! Im still trying to figure out not getting it stuck in the tuning heads, i havent given up quite yet.

This kid i knew back when i worked at stop and shop grew out his afro hair and now he wears it in a pony tail all the time. If i had afro hair id put in dreads or braids or just straighten it all the time till it falls out.

i used to have long hair, up until i was 17. i never ever thought i'd cut it. i guess i must have had this retard thought in my head that i wouldn't be "metal" anymore if i cut it, and that i'd look stupid. but eventually i went and cut it, and i like having short hair better. i think i look better, it's much easier to deal with, and i never have to comb it. i would tell people i "pulled a metallica".
