FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Huge THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER update from Trevor, band announces album title:
Hey kids, we've got a brand new site for that ass. It's been a long time in the works, but lucky enough for us we've found ourselves a kick ass Webmaster by the name of Mike. You can contact him with any ideas/concerns for making this shit better. We should finally be up to date, as Dave and I are finally on the goddamn Internet again.

For those of you who are wondering what blast master Cory Grady has been up to, he has now joined the ranks of the world's most dangerous band, Premonitions of War. Stop by their site and show Cory some love (http://www.premonitionsofwar.com/).

We just got back from a tour of Europe with Marduk, Napalm Death, Fintroll, Vader, and Belphegor. It was a pretty interesting experience. Big horns to anyone that came out to show BDM love.

Just before we head into the studio, we have five days of support for the almighty Suffocation. Cattle Decapitation and Behemoth will also be thrashin'. Look to the shows section for more details.

As for now, we're recording a new demo to show to Metal Blade and Andreas Magnusson. It will only exist on the lost form of Mini Answering Machine cassettes, so you goons won't be able to see what we are up to until its time to strike. The new album, Miasma, is now halfway written, and completely destroys anything we've done prior. We are very proud of the new songs, and are sure that our fans will not be disappointed. The direction of the new shit is noticeably heavier and far more intricate than our previous work. The album will be recorded in a dark scary basement of Richmond, VA, beginning March 10th with Andreas Magnusson (of Scarlet fame) at the helm. The album will then be mixed in April with the infamous Eric Rachel at Trax East studios, NJ. If all goes as planned Miasma will be available in the early summer months. We'll be out with King Diamond and Nile before the disc drops, kicking off another year of perpetual touring by your favorite road warriors.

The heavily delayed "A Cold Blooded Epitaph" is now off at the pressing plant, and should be available in about two months. I apologize to those of you who have been waiting for this deluxe release. It has been
Re-mastered by Scott Hull, and features live bonus tracks (which will be the worlds first recorded glimpse at The Zach Dahlia Murder) and a live video from a killer set at The Palladium in Worchester, MA. The brilliant Mark Riddick, who finally captured the essence of The Black Dahlia Murder in visual form, handled the cover art. We are 200% satisfied with the end result, and are eager to have them in our dirty paws. We'd like to thank Guy at Blackmarket for being so patient and helpful with the project. We are excited to be a part of such an amazing young label.

For those of your who are artistically inclined and looking to make a few bucks, we are in dire need of some shirt designs. Send us your resumes. Serious inquiries only (therocklock@hotmail.com)

We'll be working on the site constantly, and should have a web store up in a bit, as well as some new photos.

Stay Metal,

Trevor

THE RED CHORD
The new record is 100% written and we will continue practicing after the new years. The album will consist of 11 tracks. We promise this album will be more brutal and in your face than the last album.
We are going to start working on a new site very soon. We will be putting up a new web store with access to PayPal and all that junk. For now go to http://www.lumberjack-online.com to purchase some shirts.

We start recording on January 6th for 3 weeks with Zeuss at Planet Z, which sets us at a May release date for the release of Clients. We have been working extremely hard on this record. We promise it will not let you down.

The band will resume playing shows in February/March after the recording is complete and will probably be on the road for the majority of 2005.

In other news…
The new record from Japan's Sigh, entitled "Gallow Gallery", will feature a guest appearance by Mike McKenzie or Gunface, as some of you know him. There is no release date set yet.

"I was very honored to contribute a couple of guitar solos to the album, as Sigh has been an influence on my writing for a while now. I also contribute backing vocals on the new EP of Massachusetts based metal band, Norseth. Norseth plays an excellent blend of Swedish influenced death metal and traditional metal. Thanks to both bands for the opportunity to be a part of some exceptional music." – Gunface

The new Norseth EP is called "The Hexed Enigma," and is available now. You can check out some more info on them here.

UNEARTH update from Trevor:
In this holiday season we want to thank you all for making this an amazing year for us. Thanks to all who picked up "The Oncoming Storm", thanks to all who have come out to see us, thanks to all the bands we have toured with in 2004 and thanks to Metal Blade for treating us so well.

We also want to thank Dimebag Darrell for his musical and personal inspiration and especially his friendship. You will be forever missed Dime.

We will see you all in the new year with the full Canadian run with Slipknot and Killswitch Engage in January, as well as the full US tour with Atreyu, Norma Jean and Scars of Tomorrow in February and March. An Australian and Japanese run is in the works as well as a return to Europe.

GOD DETHORNED tablature available online!
Hey Worms! The official God Dethroned "tablature" section should be online pretty soon, but all you crazy axemen can already download the Nihilism & Arch Enemy Spain tabs on my website (more to come). You can find it here; just go to the "lessons/tabs" section.

I didn't wanted it to look as stupid as most of the tabs on the internet, so you'll have to download a very small program called Power Tab to open the files. But you won't regret this, cause it's a very cool program in which you can create your own tabs, hear/change/slow down/... other tabs. Let's say it'll change your life forever! :)

So no more excuses... I expect every damn cover band on this planet to play at least 1 God Dethroned song now!! That's my special Christmas gift for you guys. Good luck!

VEHEMENCE in search of new vocalist:
Vehemence is now in search for a new vocalist. Longtime vocalist/lyricist Nathan Gearhart has stepped down due to family obligations, and we now need a powerful frontman to fill his shoes. He will be missed, but at the same time we are excited to have some new blood in the band. We are currently looking for someone who will be fully committed to shows, practices, and tours and must have great stage presence. We DO NOT want a Nathan clone, and would prefer someone who can bring something new to our sound. No matter what 'scene' you are from, if you are an extreme metal vocalist, get in touch! The goal is to expand, and reach a wider audience with our new vocalist so if you are interested, please email us at vehemence@vehemence.com.

Sincerely,

Bjorn, John, Andy, and Mark of Vehemence

CATTLE DECAPITATION new merch and tour dates:
We just learned we'll be doing a show in Tijuana, Mexico in early April. We plan to record a live track at the show for the CD re-release of the Decapitacion EP. This past tour we played "Tripas De Pepe" from that EP along with other old favorites such as "Colon Blo", "Joined At The Ass" and "Cloned For Carrion". If you haven't caught us live recently, it's ok, there will be plenty of shows in the near future, just check the shows section for tour dates.

Cattle Decapitation’s “Human Jerky” album to be on 12" vinyl PICTURE DISC by Accident Prone Records! This is a first for this release. It will be pressed from the same remastered version as the enhanced CD released through Three One G. Available in February 2005.

We managed to get our hands on some copies of the first Cattle Decapitation 7” record “10 Torments Of The Damned” and will have them for sale at the upcoming tours. These copies are from the original press and were found in a storage unit in perfect condition after years of being stored away. For years this release has been only available on Ebay. They will not be available in stores, only at our shows.

We now have a My Space page. Apparently a fan started it months ago and we now have control of it thanks to him turning over the page to us. We did all this in response to everyone suggesting we make a My Space page for the band, be it friends or fans, so we caved in and here it is: http://www.myspace.com/cattledecapitation. We’ll manage it the best we can while we’re on this next grueling 2 and a half-month tour.

Lastly, Cattle Decapitation was named one of the “Big 10”, top ten bands in San Diego this week by The San Diego Union Tribune’s “Night & Day” magazine. Check it out here.

CATARACT reveals tour plans for 2005.
It was an incredible year for us! 2004 was the best year we had so far in our history. We want to thank everybody for their support and friendship. Especially the Metal Blade Family, OnfirePromotion, MAD, friends, the band we toured/played with and of course you! Without our Cataractians we wouldn’t have been going as far as we did. Our last three shows in Braunschweig, Hamburg and Schweinfurt were once more the living proof for that - thank you all.

Well 2005 is ahead and we can’t wait to kick it off with the special farewell show for Sidekick in Stuttgart on Jan 8th. That’s gonna be a special night for everybody, we promise. After that we will finally hit Eastern Europe again after 2 years! February will see us playing Switzerland again and in March we will join the No Mercy Festivals. Another promising step for us. Hope to see you all on of the shows. Happy New Year everybody and be safe. Cataract 04.
