the unholy trinity: dressed to kill in their best priestly bling bling. I think it work more in making it look like harry potter. again, they sounded awesome, with only a few mistakes. they had a "punky" part of a song that I don't remember.
last perfection: more people probably should have been causing a stur for them, but they played really good. they were tucked right in there with 5 members and so much gear. The vocals where too over blown at first with lots of feedback, but they worked that out. I liked a lot of the sparce talking vocals, the screams were nice and full (similar to haste the day). It was cool to see a whole set of them (I saw them for 2 songs at hellfe$t).
locked in a vacancy: damn, they were so good. it's been way too long since I listened to this CD or saw them live. They played a TON of new songs, including one song that they've never played anywhere before. The new stuff is pretty straight up with tons of killer riffs in them. It's not as chaotic as the old stuff and you hear a lot of slick melodic parts. they ended with Iron Maiden "the trooper" which was just the butter on the toast of their set.
Carina and I chatted with them after their set, great dudes. Can't wait to see them in chicopee.
as long as were all living were all dying: as always awesome to see jonah and sam. they still have that bass rigg thing set up, but I don't really know the difference to be honest. I hope that some day I can see them at a venue with crystal clear sound so I can tell what the rig does. they played a bunch of songs... then after proclamation, sam broke a string. jonahblingbling and everyone in the audience convinced him to change it and play and encore.
