Other willowtip news.

Ion Dissonance

Quebec metal band Ion Dissonance has officially joined the Willowtip Records roster. The band recently finished up in the studio where they worked with producer Yannick St-Amant (In Dying Days, Neuraxis) to record their debut album entitled “Breathing Is Irrelevant”. Breathing is Irrelevant contains nine songs and will arrive in stores on September 2nd. Look for mp3’s from this new album to be posted online in the coming weeks, in the meantime check out their website (www.iondissonance.com) to learn more about the band and hear mp3’s.

Goatsblood
Vancouver sludge/doom band Goatsblood are another new addition to the Willowtip Records team. After a previous album on Rage of Achilles the band recently recorded their new album titled “Drull” which was mixed and mastered by Steve Austin. Drull is quite simply one of the most powerful, painful, and crushing albums to arrive in years. This album will finally be unleashed for all to hear on September 23rd. Look for the band on a full US tour with Today is the Day in August and be sure to check out some mp3’s and learn more about the band at their website (www.metalprovider.com/goatsblood/main/main.html).

In addition to adding some new bands to the ever growing roster, we actually have some new releases out that are available now through the website and will be in stores soon. Rune- the end of nothing, Sadis Euphoria- Instinct | Obsession, and Leng Tch’e – man made predator are all available now.

Band News:

Commit Suicide- The band has recently finished a short mini tour with Necrophagist (Germany) concluding at the Maryland Death Fest. The band is hard at work and has nearly completed the writing for their next full length titled “Synthetics”. They plan to begin recording the album sometime in August and it will be released late in 2003. They have been playing new songs at recent live shows, and as many have witnessed the new tracks are on another level in comparison to the material found on Human Larvae and the split with Misery Index. Commit Suicide will primarily be concentrating on writing, but will make a live appearance at this years annual Loud As Fuck Festival at CBGB’s in July.

Kalibas- have recently started a marathon tour that will see them on the road for pretty much the entire summer. The easiest way to view the dates is to check this link (www.trustkillshows.com/shows/) For those that aren’t aware the band went through some major lineup changes, but fear not Kalibas v2.0 is bug free. The band will be taking time off tour in July to record a brand new 5 track mcd titled “Enthusiastic Corruption of the Common Good”. Look for this new effort to be in stores September 23rd.

Rune- will be out on tour promoting their recently released full length “The End of Nothing” in July. Until we get our new webpage up the easiest way to view tour dates is checking out the Relapse tour section here (www.relapse.com/tour/tour.php).

Well, that’s pretty much it for now. Please bear with us until the new website launches. All orders in the store are still being sent out the same day we receive them. Look for some additional signings to be announced in the coming months as well as mp3s for the upcoming releases.

people never care about watchmaker because they are all pussies who want to listen to gay music with stupid gay breakdowns or that is really annoying (or artsy as they like to call it)

watchmaker/kevorkian's angels split coming at the end of the year on notcommon
