this show SOLD OUT! unfortunately, there was a kids from Denmark who was waiting out side for the show.. but I guess since it sold out, he was SOL. for those that got in, it rocked. silent drive: featuring zack (bane's guitarist) on vocals and peter (bane's bassist). If you remember their other band, barrit, SD is as far to the singy-emo edge as bane is to the posi side from barrit. The last time I saw them I wasn't very into them. that was in July 03's team neal. with honor: my first time seeing them in a loooong time. It was great. they played a bunch of old tracks (that I knew) and some new ones (which I didn't know cause I'm still waiting for a copy). It was at this point that I couldn't really spend too much time in the crowd so I wouldn't have been able to have a working camera. People crowded up on the stage a cople times, but for most of the sing alongs, people stayed off the stage. comeback kid: yet another band that I havent seen since hellfest. (saw them at the ICC a year ago too). I'm really into the new cd that they just put out on victory and have been listening to it a bit. They had tons of people coming up on stage for the sing alongs... like for every single sing along. I had to push people back while snapping photos. I even snapped a couple of tboner on the stage. During CbK's set, I guess a lot of people were "dancing with close fists"... so after their set, the sound guy (who name I have forgot to ask) asked people to be more careful with each other. bane: yes, I did sing along to the songs I knew. This is one of the bands that I dont' really like on CD, but love live. the immense amount of human bodies doing things that would injure most people, all at the same time as everyone else is. An awesome spectical to witness. They are recording a new CD. this meant there were songs that nobody knew... hence.. a small TO for the masses to sweat and breath. If you know their music, it's basically a gigantic sing along the entire time. For the majority of the show, the stage was full and I was snapping pictures of people's heads. I guess people were still getting hurt... but not as much. At one point there was something that stopped the show... what was it? I have no idea... on the way home, I listen to WMBR the MIT station. it was a conspiracy show and they walked around asking people about conspiracy theories.. it was odd to say the least.
