Jeo/Means4War Records is a RIPOFF[views:6291][posts:11]____________________________________ [Mar 13,2005 4:50am - BornSoVile ""] this dude fucked over several bands tonight in the Village in NYC at the Pyramid venue. here's the deal, 6 bands were scheduled to play. Half of them were under 21. Apparently this guy books shows there reguaraly and ALWAYS lets in kids who are under 21 and sometimes under 18, providing they don't drink/drug. Well tonight this fucker NEVER SHOWED UP. Several bands weren't aloud access to the club and over 100 kids were denied entry. By the time the first band Rizen finished up, the show was cancelled by the club. To top off things, Jeo NEVER SHOWED UP. Several people tried calling him hours before the show, he told them he was on his way from the Bronx, but for whatever reason never showed up. Very odd situation and incredibly unprofessional. Don't book/trade with this fucker. All the NYC bands were furious with this dude, and I don't blame them. p.s. YANKEES SUCK!!! |

| ________________________________________________ [Mar 13,2005 9:13pm - mark fucking richards ""] i have never heard one good thing said about that dude or the people who help set up his shows. my old band was supposed to play in NY with black dahlia murder, set ablaze, a life once lost and a few others...we were confirmed, made sure we were all set to play, no one had to work or whatever, and 4 days before the show the kid who was booking it IMed me to say "so you guys ready for thursday?", after telling me repeatedly in IMs and emails that it was friday. then we got bitched at for being "immature and unprofessional" when we had to drop the show for his stupid mistakes. the kid couldn't even speak proper fucking english. fuck them. |

Charlie was the Promoter Responsible for the night and Jeo never said he was on his way because he was on tour with his band at the time. i have the email he forward to all the bands including everyone's email in which you new about everything. so stop making excuses bro! |
