what's worse about that cab is the fact that it's got 4 100 watt speakers, so to properly drive it you need a 1000watt power amp. this goes back to the "poweramp" discussion thread, where you don't need thousands of watts to drive a cabnet and be loud as sin...

My marshall 300w cab sounds awesome and I don't drive it to the 'max' of 300w. I'm convinced it wouldn't sound any better if I did.

no, but a 1000 watt power amp would run around 450watts RMS, and peak out bridged @ 1000
the Marshall sounds great because the RMS on it is around 100~120 watts, I do like the new Marshall cabs, they have great presence, but your ENGL makes the difference...
anyone have $$ so I can go buy my 2 marshall 412MG's?

"This is like nothing you have EVER experienced period." i think i'd rather experience A period. something about bleeding between my legs just sounds better to me than speakers in an unenclosed box, not to mention the most spacially retarded cabinet ever.
