You guys helped two bands on the road and I bet that makes you happy. The show did okay, not as good as I had hoped since it was a Saturday night. Kevorkian's Angels played a great set, which was cool considering they were pretty sober. Usually that spells disaster for their music. They made some new fans in the other bands and a few new faces I noticed at the show. Rumpelstiltskin Grinder is great, the singer is a huge cheeseball but it's awesome. They got some new stuff recorded, but it hasn't come out yet. I cannot wait to get it when it does come out. These guys expressed interest in coming back to Boston, so all you pussies who missed this show last night might get another chance to see them. God's Temple of Family Deliverance lost about half the crowd, being the slowest band I've seen in probably my entire life. The other half of the crowd loved them and I saw they told a fair amount of merch after their set. I was one of the people who loved these guys, and they invited me to visit Houston TX sometime. Maybe in the winter so I can avoid some snow. Abhorred played a really good set too, Johnny H was using Johnny G's kit, but it didn't slow him down at all. I got permission to let them play a little extra, but then they played a little extra after that and got banned. Hopefully that doesn't last because I want to bring some more shows to DeeDees and I tend to enjoy booking Abhorred. |

The owner didn't seem to care, and her punk show ran over alot longer then Abhorred did. She told me the owner was pissed because the cops called, and when I talked to him he did mention the cops but was more just like 'whatever' about the 5 minutes or so they went over. This situation however, got me thinking about the Hidden Hand show which has 5 bands. I am gonna have to run a really tight time frame for that show so that she doesn't fuck with the Hidden Hand.
