You put in distance from projectile, projectile size, impact speed/angle, the density of the projectile, and what material it makes contact on (i think i'm forgetting one or two things), and it formulates the results. You can even download the pdf file with all the equations it uses and the many reasons that the program isn't completely accurate (i assume mostly because of the endless list of other variables that it doesn't include). |
