im in that boat too. i think its kind of weird that out of all the bands that are in that same sort of genre, swans are the ones that are now the new cool thing to like. maybe its just a boston thing or something, but i swear ive heard at least 3 people say 'that new band swans'. which is why id like to be walled off somwhere.

To stop the flame war, the 22nd is going to be fucking amazing. Go see Avskum at Regeneration Records, then take the 5 minute walk just in time to make the Jarboe/Amber Asylum show. Everyone needs to go to make up for me not being able to make it to either, which makes me very very sad :(
