The best album of the 80s I'd say is Iron Maiden - Powerslave. I don't know if I'd consider it the best album of 1984. I'm sure whatever Maiden released in 84 is better than Ride The Lightning (I think it was Piece Of Mind, in which case I stand by that statement). Also, Van Halen's 1984 is better I think, but I suppose lots of people would disagree. I just checked. Powerslave was 1984, Piece Of Mind was 83, I was just confused because I didn't realize they released 2 albums in 83. So it's settled. Ride The Lightning is nor the best album of 1984, or the best album of the 80s. Powerslave was both. |
