Another day starts like the last. Although this day, the photo pit is now a full on first come first serve sitery. amoebic dysentery: they had a CDR of their drum tracks. They came out with weird biohazard suits and face masks with goggles. It wasn't as good as some other bands, like neurotic collateral (?I think that's it). The singer tried to vomit, but couldn't. He drank a whole thing of grape jelly and half a thing of milk plus put his fingers down his throat, but nothing. A guy from the audience held the bucket. magrudergrind: the sounded awesome. As good as the other night, tight, but with really really good sound. |

I guess 2 of the members couldn't make it. I swearhe said that one of the guys was from shai hulud. The other guy, I don't know. They are playing a show in worcester that you all have to go to. Also, the are touring with deicide. They sounded like another some one else that I can't remember. I think its someone on black market activities. |

Though, I was walking back around and the shorter guitarist who should have been on stage charged by me and shoved me out of the way. I guess his head blew during their set. Thank you to whom ever caught me. Also, during their set, some kid came up to me and gave me a CD, Throne Fiction, saying "you set yesterday was hilarious." I think he thought I was in gronibard. That is hilarious. In real life, I'm a noboby. Not a rockstar, especially not a french on. |

It was good. 1/2 the vox went through a prosessor. ghoul: wow, they are doing a cover of what a wonderful world. It sounds really good too. The crowd went nuts for them. I even saw kalopsia rocking out to it... Not hard since he's tall. They were wearing hangman's outfits. Good stuff... Though I'm getting more and more annoying in the photo-pit cause there keeps getting to be less and less room in there. |

It was sort of silly looking, but the music was awesome. I think I need to hear them on CD to like it. Definitely a name I've been hearing for a long time. It was cool that the drummer sang and an awesome push pit broke out. Though it got roudy upfront due to the intermitent crowd surfer. |

It pretty much ruled just as much, though again, they only played one track off engineering the dead. If any one in aborted reads thid, please, play 2 or something off the christ denied split. It was weird cause there was a mass exodus out of the building after they finished. Sucks, but not too many people stayed... I would say the crowd was cut in half. Anyhow, the new aborted tracks some a lot different, but the CD is still probably going to own most everything else. |

For some reason, the samples weren't coming through the PA and everyone had to be very very quiet to hear them. Then, ross's guitar head stopped working. Shawn (singer/guitar) hooked the bass through his rig so that he was only singing. I though he wouldn't know what to do, but he was one "claw" shy of being BDM. Finally, after a few songs, some one fixed the head so that they could play with everyone. Oh, and I thought I would be in the perfect spot for the fire,but I was wrong. They kept coming closer and closer to me... I kept backing up until I was on 2 kids laps. They just kepp playing better and better. For their last song, in a totally expected move, leon de mort came out and sang. Since I mean, what band hasn't he filled in, toured with, or been in? |

I was told that they were the second coming of christ and carcass, but they weren't that melodic... mostly very gutteral. it was great stuff, they came out covered in blood and played. after about an hour, the sound guy turned off the stage and they kept playing through cliteater or whatever on the house PA. After 2 more songs, they finally stopped, ripped the strings off their guitars and finished. immolation: by this point in the night it was so late and I was super tired. I ran around taking shots, but after not seeing "no jesus, no beast" on the set list, I stuck around for "father, youre not a father" and then took off. it was great to see all the bands, meeting up with all the people, and snap pictures non-stop. to ryan/evan: awesome fest, the venue was decent. my basic complaints are superficial (like too many people in the photo pit and the security giving me 1 minute to get something from my car and get back inside), but over all, it ran super smoothly. there were only a couple cases of broken equipment... not a single band failed to show up. I will definitely look forward to shooting this again next year. Oh, props to malignancy for coming out both days even through they werent on the fest just to support the other bands. you guys rule. same to sean v (ex fassw, current vehemece), Jon & Jill (?) (incantation/funerus), leon de mort (ex-imapled/exhumed), and anyone else I forgot. Also, to all the people I got to meet for the first time, including kurt from century media and Dilton (poltergeist Mag br), carina and my swedish photog buddy (who name escapes me now), the old singer of dehumanized (jerry), and a bunch of others that made the weekend rock. |
